RN- Progressive Care Unit (Night Shift)Location: Concord, NH, 03301Duration: 13-weeks ContractShift: 12-hr NightsGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekly Pay: $2,088 - $2,268; (Negotiable based on experience)Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week travel contract assignment in Concord, NH. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to acutely ill patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but not intensive care.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct and individualized nursing care to PCU patients based on best practices and hospital protocols.Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform other necessary treatments.Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system (Cerner preferred).Required Requirements:Active RN License - New Hampshire or Compact State LicenseCertifications Required: BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association)Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent PCU or Step-Down Unit experienceTravel Nursing Experience: Must have documented prior travel assignment(s)EMR Experience: Cerner preferred (not required)Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with critically ill patientsAdditional Info:Will accept local candidates.Local pay rates will apply to candidates residing within 50 miles.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume.Our recruitment team will reach out within 24 hours.
