We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives and we want YOU to join our team!What you will be doing: Responsible for the completion of a wide variety of tasks and keeping assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition, in compliance with government and management directives.Essential FunctionsMaintain and preserve all flooring and/or covering by scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing and sweepingClean and sanitize restrooms and associated fixturesWash walls, windows and woodwork; dust desks, bookshelves, cabinets and other office furnitureCollect and dispose of all litter, trash in assigned buildings; sweep and clean exterior steps, entrances, landings and sidewalksSupervise students on center work support who are assigned custodial dutiesProvide positive, quality customer services to students, staff and other center customersParticipate in student employability programs and activitiesSupport, promote, and enforce the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance PolicyPromote the development of Career Success Standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students where necessary and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventionsMaintain accountability of students and property; adhere to safety practices.It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred and one year related experience requiredValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by managementManagement & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
