Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This full-time, onsite contract position allows you to collaborate with K-12th grade students, educators, and families across the district for the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027. Work within an itinerant framework and provide essential re-evaluations to help students reach their fullest potential.Ideal qualifications and experience:Valid School Psychologist credentials for Georgia (PSYCH License)Prior experience in a K-12 setting (district or multi-site exposure preferred)Proficiency in conducting special education re-evaluations and report writingStrong knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEP process, and evaluation methodologiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and familiesAbility to adapt quickly while working at various school sites within the districtKey responsibilities:Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students across elementary, middle, and high schoolsConsult with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to design and implement appropriate interventionsAttend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing guidance regarding student needs and supportsMaintain accurate, confidential records and comply with all regulatory standardsTravel between school buildings within the district as requiredWorking in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to positively influence young lives, build rewarding relationships, and develop your professional expertise through varied experiences across grade levels.Embark on this fulfilling journey making a difference in students’ educational experiences.
