Compliance Coordinator (Eagan)

Position OverviewThe Compliance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate driver qualification files and supporting the company's drug and alcohol programs. This role ensures compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, company policies, and driver qualification standards.The position partners closely with drivers, operations, and safety teams to maintain strong compliance practices and uphold safety and accountability across the organization.******This position is On-site 5 days a week in the office.******Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and monitor driver qualification files, including:Annual motor vehicle record (MVR) reviewsDriver self-certificationsLicensing and driving recordsMedical certificationsOngoing MVR monitoring programsSupport all aspects of the company's drug and alcohol testing program to ensure compliance with federal requirementsAssist with:Driver citation tracking and processingRoadside inspection reportingReview safety camera events and support motorist complaint coaching in line with Performance Improvement GuidelinesIndex and maintain driver qualification documentation within compliance systemsTrack, analyze, and report on compliance tasks and audit resultsCollaborate with Operations, Safety, Driver Support, Orientation, and Training teams to ensure consistent communication and adherence to DOT regulationsApply quality control practices to review internal and external compliance processes and systemsPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in the trucking or transportation industrySafety or compliance experience strongly preferredPreferred QualificationsBasic knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulationsSkills & CompetenciesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to learn new compliance systems and technologiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to analyze data and track compliance metricsEffective communication across cross-functional teamsWhat Success Looks LikeAccurate and audit-ready driver qualification filesTimely completion of compliance tasks and reportingStrong coordination with safety and operations teamsConsistent adherence to DOT and FMCSA regulationsDisclaimer:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
