Medical Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or other medical settings to ensure efficient patient care delivery. Duties - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records - Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures - Administer medications under the direction of a physician - Obtain and record vital signs - Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures - Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans Experience - Prior experience in a medical setting preferred - Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge - Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient settings - Ability to work effectively in clinic, hospital, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine environments - Experience with medical systems for electronic health records is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.56 per hour Experience: Vital signs: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (Required) Ability to Commute: Philadelphia, PA 19134 (Required) Work Location: In person
