Supply Chain Analyst - Inventory Planning & ProcurementFountain Valley, CA | $22.72 - $33.52/hourWe are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support inventory planning, forecasting, procurement, and supplier coordination for overseas and domestic parts suppliers. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, improving fill rates, reducing backorders, and supporting supply chain operations that directly impact customer satisfaction and company profitability.This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in inventory planning, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain analysis who thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesForecast inventory needs and place purchase orders to maintain fill rate and inventory objectivesExpedite supplier orders and resolve dealer backorders to improve customer service levelsCoordinate new model parts planning and ensure inventory readiness during vehicle launchesMonitor purchase orders, supplier performance, and inventory trendsAnalyze inventory data and recommend improvements to supply planning processesMaintain accurate part master data, purchase order records, and reporting documentationSupport system enhancements, reporting improvements, and ad-hoc supply chain analysisCollaborate with suppliers, internal departments, and cross-functional teams to meet operational goalsQualifications2-4 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, procurement, or quantitative analysisStrong Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with reporting tools and databases preferredExperience with inventory forecasting and supply planning requiredStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing business needsAutomotive industry experience preferred but not requiredAPICS or supply chain certifications are a plusScheduleMonday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMMinimal travel may be required.This role is ideal for candidates seeking supply chain analyst, inventory analyst, procurement analyst, demand planning, or logistics analyst jobs in a dynamic distribution and operations environment.The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
