CNC Programmer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition to a full-time role offering benefits in the future. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating the Micro Dynamics Mega 30 V CNC machine. We value individuals who are serious, committed, and self-autonomous, ensuring that quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our CAD engineer and the production team to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate the Micro Dynamics Mega 30 V CNC lathes and milling machines according to detailed specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide production. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to ensure the accuracy of machined parts. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices to ensure compliance with design specifications. Collaborate with our CAD engineer and the production team to optimize machining processes and minimize waste. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times. SkillsProficiency in operating CNC machinery, specifically the Micro Dynamics Mega 30 V. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience with tooling setup and selection for a variety of machining tasks. Familiarity with precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation accurately. Knowledge of GD&T principles is a plus.
