Job Summary This is a senior technical role focused on advanced estimating and engineering validation for structured cabling projects. You will bridge field experience with engineering discipline to ensure projects are accurate, constructible, and scalable before they reach installation. You’ll work directly with leadership and field teams as a technical authority, helping shape how projects are designed, estimated, and executed inside a growing company. What You’ll Do Serve as RCDD of Record on select engagements Perform site walks and constructability validation (~10% travel) Lead advanced estimating for copper, fiber, DAS, and data center infrastructure Convert drawings and field conditions into accurate labor and material estimates Identify scope gaps and design risks before bid submission Support design-build and design-assist technical reviews Develop value-engineered solutions when appropriate Technical Leadership Act as internal SME for structured cabling systems Guide pathway design, grounding/bonding, rack layout, and topology Collaborate with PMs and installation teams to improve buildability Participate in pre-construction activities Represent the company professionally with customers Systems & Process Improvement Help build repeatable estimating tools and assemblies Improve estimate accuracy using historical production data Support modernization of estimating workflows Establish SOPs for surveys, take-offs, and handoff Compensation & Sign-On Bonus Salary: $85,000 – $95,000, based on experience On-site senior technical role with growth opportunity To help bring on exceptional talent like you, we offer sign-on bonuses — including up to $5,000 for candidates with an active RCDD credential. *Bonuses are customized to reward the right fit and are typically paid after your first 90 days of strong contributions.
