Position: Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)Location: JBLM Area – Pierce & Thurston CountyCompany: Operation: Red DotPay: $60K–$70K/year DOE + Bonus OpportunitiesOperation: Red Dot is a veteran-owned real estate and property management company serving the JBLM community and surrounding areas. We manage a growing portfolio of residential homes and are looking for a high-level Maintenance Technician who operates with consistency, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.This role is built for someone who can work independently in the field, make sound decisions, and communicate clearly with both the internal team and clients.What You'll Be Responsible ForConducting detailed property inspections with clear notes and high-quality photo documentationCompleting general maintenance and repair work (drywall, minor plumbing, fixtures, basic electrical, etc.)Identifying issues early and recommending solutions before they escalateCommunicating updates, findings, and next steps in real timeCoordinating with the Maintenance Coordinator and third-party vendorsMaintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicleRepresenting Operation: Red Dot professionally in occupied and vacant homesWhat Success Looks LikeYou manage your day, route, and workload without needing constant directionYour inspection reports are clear, thorough, and actionableYou take ownership of problems and follow them through to resolutionYou balance speed with quality—getting work done efficiently without cutting cornersYou communicate proactively, not reactivelyRequirements2+ years of hands-on maintenance, construction, or residential repair experienceStrong working knowledge of:Basic plumbing and electrical systemsDrywall repair and interior finishesGeneral home functionality and troubleshootingValid driver's license with a clean driving recordComfortable using mobile apps/software for reporting and communication (AppFolio or similar)Ability to work independently across multiple properties and environmentsPreferred / Bonus SkillsExperience with paint, trim, and baseboard installationExperience with flooring installation (LVP, laminate, or similar)Prior experience in property management or residential maintenanceMilitary or logistics backgroundCompensation & Benefits$60,000 – $70,000 annually (DOE)Company vehicle provided after 90 day probation periodFlexible time off and autonomy in managing your scheduleRemote work environment (field-based dispatched from home)Performance-based bonus opportunitiesConsistent, year-round full-time workload with a structured support teamEqual Opportunity EmployerOperation: Red Dot is an equal opportunity employer.
