Account Coordinator
Summary/Objective The Account Coordinator position is made up of administrative duties that support the department in conjunction with creating relationships with our Airline, Cruise Line and Hotel partners. The position is intended to be a path to the Account Manager role.This is a Hybrid position based at our Corporate HQ in Melville, NY.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Learn client’s business and support Account Manager(s) in meeting deliverables. Support Account Managers in their coordination with Business Development team to ensure a smooth client transition from contract signing to implementation.Support and help prepare client communications ranging from weekly performance meetings to business reviews.Become knowledgeable with API technology platforms for the Account Management department.Assist the Account Manager(s) with day to day items.Maintain spreadsheets and update databases with information.Other job duties may be assigned when needed, based on the client’s or API’s needs.CompetenciesProblem Solving/AnalysisBuilding RelationshipsResults DrivenTechnical CapacityCommunication ProficiencySupervisory ResponsibilityNoneWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment. Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityAt least 1 year travel industry experience, working closely with airlines and/or hotels is a mustStrong computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products especially ExcelExceptional verbal and written communication skillsCustomer service skillsFlexible to work afterhours based on business demandAttention to detail and the ability to produce high quality work is a must.Ability to understand and work with diverse culture here and abroad.Organized self-starter who can effectively manage workload in a fast paced atmosphere and be able to accomplish goals.Able to multi task and work well under strict deadlines.Good Faith CompensationThe good faith compensation hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.
