Role - IT Field Support Specialist - ImagingClearance - TS/FS Poly required)Location - Columbia MDSalary - $95K PADescriptionThe job duties are as follows:Utilizes MDT servers to deploy latest computer image to new and recycled computers.Fulfills equipment requests for newly imaged workstations according to daily work priorities.Configures computers, communications devices and peripheral equipment.Trains site personnel in proper use of imaging tools.Troubleshoot, repair, and test computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipmentInstall and configure computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment and associated cablingMaintain government and/or vendor-manufactured fiber optic modems, multiplexer, fiber optic/Ethernet cables & telephone systemsEnsures image benches are operational. If operational status is lost alert proper management team.REQUIRED: The individual to be able to drive an ATT vehicle.Requirements:Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Minimum education and experience level: High school/GED and four (4) years of experience AND 8570 Certification. Preferred Security +Highly skilled in installing, repairing and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals. Well-versed in installing windows, software, applications, antivirus and patchesDemonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematicsExpertise in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)Able to manage time and priorities effectivelyAble to work efficiently with minimal supervisionProficient in working with end-users remotelyDemonstrated expertise in Microsoft Windows 7 and 10Familiar with Active Directory security and policiesExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsMust be able to drive company vehicle
