This position is responsible for welcoming and interacting with customers to provide an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate for this position has experience serving in a restaurant or bar setting, but must be comfortable taking direction from management and servers. Candidates must be friendly and able to engage in conversation while providing guests with both efficient and professional service. Responsibilities: Serve food and beverages to restaurant patrons. Follow specific guidelines related to customer service, food quality, deliver, and cleanliness. Give customers directions. Take or receive verbal and written complaints from customers. Communicate with co-workers regarding the status of tables or events in the restaurant. Assist other staff members in the restaurant as needed. Answer questions about menu items and daily specials.
