The successful candidate will work closely with both production and Research & Development teams, supporting quality activities related to dry blending ingredients, formulations, and specialty products used within the cosmetic industry.The company is looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining high quality and food safety standards.Job Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and quality checkpoints throughout production processesEnsure compliance with HACCP plans, GMP requirements, and SQF program standardsConduct allergen control checks, sanitation verifications, and pre-operational inspectionsSupport traceability programs and maintain accurate production documentationPartner with the Research & Development team to support quality control activities for specialty and cosmetic-related productsAssist with the evaluation and testing of dry blending ingredients, including raw material verification and in-process quality checksSupport product development trials and scale-up activities by providing quality oversightDocument findings and communicate feedback to support product optimization and compliance initiativesPerform in-process and finished product inspections to ensure products meet specificationsIdentify, document, and report non-conformances or quality deviationsMaintain quality records, inspection logs, and monitoring reports accurately and consistentlyConduct environmental and sanitation monitoring activities as requiredMaintain organized, audit-ready documentation in accordance with regulatory and SQF requirementsRecord inspection results, CCP monitoring data, and corrective actions clearly and accuratelyAssist with internal audits and third-party audit preparation activitiesIdeal Qualifications & Competencies: 1–3 years of experience within a food manufacturing, quality control, or food safety environment preferredFamiliarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP programs considered a strong assetExperience maintaining quality documentation and records preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyOrganized, dependable, and able to consistently follow proceduresComfortable working collaboratively with both production and quality teamsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office or similar systemsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPost-secondary education in food science, biology, or a related discipline considered an asset, but not requiredAdditional InformationOur client values attitude, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
