Buyer – Manufacturing / Supply ChainAshton North is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in the Austin area seeking a Buyer to join their procurement and supply chain team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone earlier in their procurement or supply chain career who wants broader ownership, direct supplier interaction, and the opportunity to grow within a manufacturing environment that is evolving and building more structure across purchasing and supply chain operations.The company operates in a highly customized manufacturing environment involving motors, controls, electronics, aluminum extrusions, metals, fabrics, and engineered components supporting premium products sold throughout North America.This role is not simply transactional purchasing. The team is looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working cross-functionally, building supplier relationships, improving processes, and helping support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.What They’re Looking ForExperience working within a manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, materials, planning, or purchasing environmentExposure to sourcing or purchasing components tied to motors, controls, electronics, metals, aluminum extrusions, or industrial manufacturing materialsExperience supporting manufacturing operations, suppliers, and inventory planning activitiesStrong organizational and communication skillsComfortable working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, planning, and suppliersERP or MRP system experience preferred (NetSuite experience is highly attractive)Analytical mindset with the ability to help solve operational and supply chain challengesAbility to thrive within a growing company environment where responsibilities are broad and evolvingExposure to fabrics, textiles, or highly customized manufacturing environments is a plusBachelor’s degree preferredAreas of Exposure May IncludeSupplier sourcing and RFQsProcurement and purchasing supportInventory management and planningDemand forecastingSupplier relationship managementMaterials coordinationLong lead-time managementMotors, controls, electronics, metals, or manufacturing componentsAluminum extrusion sourcingProcess improvement initiativesERP / NetSuite supportThis opportunity offers strong long-term growth potential for someone looking to continue building their career within procurement and supply chain leadership.Local Austin-area candidates only.If interested, please apply directly.
