Property Accounting Supervisor

Soni is partnering with a leading real estate organization to add a Property Accounting Supervisor to support a high-profile commercial portfolio. This is a hands-on role offering ownership of full-cycle accounting across multiple properties, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on financial operations and processes.Responsibilities:Oversee full-cycle property accounting across multiple assetsPrepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliationsManage CAM reconciliations, tenant billing, and lease-related accountingAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesPartner closely with property management and internal stakeholdersSupport budgeting, forecasting, and audit processesAssist in improving accounting workflows and reporting accuracyProvide guidance and support to junior team membersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5–8+ years of accounting experience, ideally within property accountingStrong understanding of CAM reconciliations and lease accounting Experience with Yardi or similar real estate accounting systems Advanced Excel skillsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Skills:Commercial real estate experience supporting multi-entity portfoliosExperience working in fast-paced or evolving environmentsPrior experience mentoring or overseeing junior staffBackground in improving processes or building structure within accounting functionsCompensation: $125,000 - $135,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
