CUI-FIBER INSTALLER

CUI is seeking a Fiber Installer to join our growing and expanding team in Nashville, TN.In this role, you will complete residential fiber installations, configure Wi-Fi equipment, and deliver an excellent customer experience. This position is ideal for technicians with in-home installation or low-voltage experience who are comfortable working independently in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete daily customer-facing appointments installing and troubleshooting fiber servicesInstall, splice, and terminate fiber optic cabling in indoor and outdoor environmentsSet up Wi-Fi routers and home networking equipmentUse diagnostic tools to test cabling and resolve in-field issuesServe as a knowledgeable resource for customer product and service recommendationsMeet or exceed company installation and performance goalsMaintain accurate inventory of tools and materialsTravel within assigned county areas as neededWork collaboratively with team members to ensure positive customer experiencesSafely utilize hand and power tools while following all safety protocolsDrive a company-provided vehicle to job sites while adhering to company driving policiesComplete job ticketing accurately and on timeRequirements1+ year of experience in fiber, cabling, low-voltage, or in-home installation (preferred, not required)Previous experience with cabling types such as fiber, coax, and Cat5e, including terminationKnowledge of cabling standards and basic network infrastructureFamiliarity with smartphones and tabletsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust pass criminal background check and maintain a clean driving recordPhysically able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and lift up to 80 lbsComfortable using basic hand and power tools (extension ladders, drills, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.)Must be 23 years or olderJob DetailsJob Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $20 per hourSchedule: 5 days per week | 8-10-hour shifts (schedule may vary)Work Location: In person - Nashville, TNBenefitsOn-the-job trainingOpportunities for advancementProfessional development assistanceAdditional InformationLicense Required: Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordEnglish required; multilingual candidates encouraged to applyThis is a great opportunity for technicians looking to grow their fiber skills, gain hands-on field experience, and advance within a fast-growing telecom company.
