Asbestos Abatement Technician

Asbestos Abatement TechnicianBockmann LLC is seeking dependable, safety-focused individuals to join our growing asbestos abatement and restoration team. This position involves the safe removal, handling, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials on commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for hardworking team members who take pride in quality work, professionalism, and maintaining a safe jobsite environment.Responsibilities·        Perform asbestos abatement activities in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations·        Assist with setting up and maintaining containment areas and negative air systems·        Safely remove and dispose of asbestos-containing materials·        Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE)·        Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite protocols·        Assist with demolition, cleanup, and restoration-related tasks as needed·        Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet project schedulesQualifications·        Previous asbestos abatement experience preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate·        Current asbestos worker certification/license preferred·        Ability to wear a respirator and work in physically demanding environments·        Ability to lift 10 -50 pounds and work on ladders, scaffolds, and confined spaces when necessary·        Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail·        Valid driver’s license preferred·        Must be able to attend and pass a 4 or 5 day asbestos training class and pre-placement physical (for new licensees)Benefits·        Competitive pay based on experience and certifications·        Company paid training, physical and licensing·        401(k) plan·        Paid time off·        Opportunities for advancement and additional certificationsSchedule·        Full-time ( 4 day work week- 10hrs/day)·        Overtime opportunities available·        Occasional travel may be required depending on project location Pay: $20-25 (depending on experience)Apply TodayJoin a company that values safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
