Job DetailsAssignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel MRI Technologist) Location: Springfield, IL 62781 (Springfield imaging jobs, Illinois healthcare jobs) Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet Hospital Start Date: April 27, 2026 End Date: July 27, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM), Saturday through Monday Hours per Week: 36 On-Call: Required as needed Guaranteed Hours: Up to 36 hours may be called off per 13-week assignment Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100 - $2,250 Scrub Color: Any solid color Charting: Cerner (experience with Cerner required) Parking: Free with permit Job RequirementsMinimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience (Level I Trauma experience preferred) ARRT (MR) certification preferred (Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification) Experience with Cerner charting system required Proven MRI skills in Abdomen, Pelvis, Cardiovascular, Chest, Head/Neck, Musculoskeletal, Special Imaging Procedures, and Spine Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed Illinois state license required (or ability to obtain prior to start) Must arrive in Illinois 3 business days prior to compliance deadline for fingerprinting (if applicable) Ability to complete all compliance and onboarding requirements on time First-time travelers welcome - great opportunity for travel MRI technologist jobs and radiology travel assignments Floating within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals is required for all travelers ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality MRI scans for a variety of patient populations, including trauma, inpatient, and outpatient cases Operate MRI equipment and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process Demonstrate proficiency in advanced MRI techniques, including MRA, MRV, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, and more Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Cerner for charting Participate in on-call rotation as required Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families Ready for this travel MRI technologist opportunity in Springfield, Illinois?
