Type: PCU / Step Down Hours Per Week: 36 (3x12hrs/wk) Shift: NIGHT SHIFT Department: Stepdown Intermediate Care ** URGENT NEED ** Location: Nashville, TN Fidé is currently seeking an RN with PCU Cardiac Surgery experience for a 13-week contract in Nashville, TN Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2+ years of current PCU Cardiac Surgery experience. Looking for highly motivated nurses to help on this PCU Cardiac Surgery Unit. This unit cares for patients that are status post cardiac surgery. Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test Unit Capacity: 24 Beds Population Served: Pre and Post Cardiac Surgery, Acute Coronary Syndrome, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, unstable arrhythmias and other related cardiac disorders. Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 5:1 Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
