Delivery Driver

BASCO Appliances the leading appliance retailer is looking for an energetic individual who can provide excellent delivery service. The position is physically demanding, the ideal person must be able to lift 50lbs, work as a team, direct team members as needed and demonstrate an ability to use a hand truck and straps to deliver appliances into a customer’s home, apartment, or condo. This position works 6:30 am until the daily route is complete Ability to problem-solve delivery issues and communicate with customers in a professional manner Report to the operations manager any delivery follow up or issues that might be needed. This position requires you to assist the warehouse pre-pull team when you return from your deliveries early. Experience driving a 26” box truck Required Experience: Warehousing or delivery experience 2 years in customer service Clean driving record Complete a criminal background check Complete a drug screening Summary As a Delivery Driver, you will be essential in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while providing outstanding customer service. Your core skills in driving and communication will facilitate smooth interactions with customers, while your ability to handle a box truck will be crucial for transporting merchandise.
