DI is seeking an on-site Legislative Support specialist in Quantico, Virginia. **This position is contingent upon award of contract** Job Responsibilities: Provide support to the CODIS Program, including: Legislative monitoring, support, and planning Preparing and conducting presentations Other support functions Organizing the Annual CODIS Conference Supporting the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods (SWGDAM) Engaging with the NDIS Board Software demonstrations Monitoring Federal, State, and case law revisions related to DNA databases and their use Providing research and documentation for litigation involving the Federal Convicted Offender Program and challenges to State DNA laws Maintaining model provisions for DNA laws for states revising their laws Reviewing pending Federal regulations and legislation on DNA Updating the CODIS State Administrator's Manual to align with laws, regulations, and case law Researching and preparing memoranda on DNA database issues and assisting with NDIS procedures and meetings Responding to audit requests and preparing reports Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 5 years’ judicial and legislative experience At least 5 years’ experience in legislative research related to forensic DNA Minimum three years of experience with the latest Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint Preferred experience with the FBI CODIS program and its law enforcement applications At least a top secret security clearance Data Intelligence, DI, is an established small business supporting government missions since 2005.
