A well-established local manufacturer is seeking an experienced Welder to join their production team. This position operates within a metal forming environment and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. Pay & Schedule $18.00/hr and up depending on experience! 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available Key Responsibilities Perform welding operations (GTAW - Gas Tungsten Arc Welding preferred)Operate production machinery and equipmentMove materials manually and with a forkliftUse hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsAccurately use measuring instruments and gaugesProduce quality parts that meet company standardsLog in/out of jobs using the shop floor data collection systemFollow daily production schedules and meet production standardsPerform general building and machine 5S maintenanceLift and handle parts weighing up to 50 poundsMaintain consistent, on-time attendance and return promptly from breaksParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesPractice safe work habits and report any unsafe conditionsMaintain a quarterly review rating of 6 or higher (goal of 10)Participate in ongoing and advanced training as offeredPerform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Prior welding experience required (GTAW preferred)High School Diploma or GED equivalentStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to use a computer for data entry and job trackingAbility to communicate effectively with team membersAbility to work safely and efficiently in a production environment Please call 570-326-1736 and ask for Kayla, or submit your resume today for immediate consideration.
