Cloud Architect
Key ResponsibilitiesAWS Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, etc.).Infrastructure & DevOps: Define and deliver infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.Solution Architecture: Lead end-to-end solution design, ensuring cloud adoption strategies align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.Client-Facing Engagements: Conduct workshops, solution sessions, architecture reviews, and capability presentations with business and technical stakeholders.Migration & Modernization: Provide technical leadership for application migrations, modernization, and refactoring of workloads to AWS cloud-native services.Governance & Security: Define cloud governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with security, risk management, and regulatory requirements.Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver cloud strategies that maximize ROI.Innovation & Best Practices: Stay current with emerging AWS services, DevOps tooling, and infrastructure trends, promoting best practices across teams.Required Skills & Experience15+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in AWS cloud architecture and solution design.Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale AWS cloud solutions.Hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS/ECS, CloudFront, etc.).Experience in DevOps practices, automation, and cloud operations.Ability to conduct client workshops, solution discovery sessions, and advisory engagements, translating business requirements into technical solutions.Experience supporting pre-sales activities, RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations, and capability presentations.Proven ability to build trust with executive stakeholders, bridging business and technology.Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences.Strong leadership, with the ability to mentor teams and define best practices across solution delivery.
