This role is critical in supporting attorneys and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative capabilities, excellent communication skills, and prior experience within a legal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to attorneys, including drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents and correspondenceManage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, court dates, and deadlinesPrepare and file legal documents with courts (including e-filing where applicable)Maintain and organize client files (both digital and physical)Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and external partiesAnswer and direct incoming calls; manage front office responsibilities as neededAssist with billing, time entry, and expense trackingConduct basic legal research and document retrieval as requestedEnsure compliance with legal procedures and firm policiesQualifications2+ years of experience as a legal secretary or legal administrative assistantFamiliarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and documentationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with legal case management software is a plusStrong typing and transcription skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh level of professionalism and confidentialityStrong written and verbal communication skills
