About Fish AudioFish Audio is building the voice layer for AI-native products - real-time, emotionally expressive speech infrastructure that no longer sounds like AI.Our models power over 7 million creators and developers, along with enterprise customers across AI agents, AI companions, gaming, video, creator tools, and interactive media. We’ve grown enterprise revenue from $0 to seven figures in under six months with zero churn.The RoleWe're hiring the Head of Finance to build the financial engine behind this growth so we can sustain it and accelerate into the next phase.You'll report directly to the CEO and own everything from the financial model to our next fundraise, building a finance function from scratch for the speed we operate at. You'll create the systems and discipline, and the decisions you make in year one will shape how this company scales for the next decade.This is not a maintenance job. You're building from zero across a genuinely complex setup: two distinct revenue motions (usage-based enterprise + consumer/creator), a US–Japan corporate structure.What You'll OwnFP&A & strategic planningBuild driver-based financial models for revenue, costs, margin, and cash flow across both enterprise and creator engines.Own revenue forecasting, hiring plans, runway scenarios, and unit economics.Lead monthly/quarterly/annual reporting - distill insights and flag risks.Partner with the CEO on budget allocation, investment decisions, and strategic bets.Capital strategy & fundraisingLead fundraising alongside the CEO - modeling, narrative, diligence, investor Q&A, and board communications.Manage cash, treasury, and credit facilities.Revenue & monetizationDesign the financial architecture for usage-based enterprise pricing and consumer/creator monetization - pricing, contract structures, and deal economics.Establish revenue recognition that is clean, defensible, and scale-ready.Accounting, controls & complianceBuild audit-ready financials by 2027 - internal controls, documentation, and reporting infrastructure from scratch.Own month-end close, reconciliations, AP, expense management, and financial controls.Lead US and Japan tax strategy - filings, R&D credits, cross-border obligations, and payroll/EOR.Manage outsourced accounting, tax, and payroll vendors.OperationsCoordinate with legal on contracts, vendor agreements, and compliance.Own HR operations, including payroll and benefits.What We're Looking For3+ years in finance at a high-growth, venture-backed startupEnd-to-end FP&A ownership: modeling, forecasting, close, and reportingStrong US GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial reporting fundamentalsMeaningful use of AI tools to redesign finance workflowsEnterprise AI/SaaS experienceProficiency with QuickBooks Online and strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skillsComfortable moving between strategic analysis and detailed operational executionCPA, or experience managing outsourced accounting and tax vendors (a plus)You’ve built finance from scratch at a company that scaled quickly. You operate at the speed of the business-board-ready model in a week, a point of view on a $15M decision with imperfect data.
