This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while collaborating with senior advisors, operations professionals, and planning teams to deliver a seamless, exceptional client ResponsibilitiesClient Consultation & DiscoveryConduct thorough discovery meetings to understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, retirement timeline, and concernsAnalyze clients’ complete financial picture including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, insurance, and estate considerationsBuild rapport and trust through genuine, relationship-first interactionsComprehensive Financial PlanningGuide clients through a structured five-pillar planning process: income design, investment strategy, tax mitigation, healthcare planning, and legacy planningDevelop personalized financial plans based on each client’s short- and long-term goalsRecommend appropriate investment strategies and asset allocation aligned with client risk profilesHelp clients budget, manage debt, and plan proactively for major financial milestonesInvestment Advice & Portfolio ManagementRecommend investment products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs aligned with client goalsAssist with portfolio construction, asset allocation discussions, and ongoing investment strategy implementationMonitor accounts and coordinate with internal operations to ensure accurate execution of planning recommendationsRetirement PlanningAdvise clients on retirement account strategies (401(k), IRA, Roth, etc.) and distribution planningSupport retirement income planning, including Social Security optimization, distribution sequencing, and long-term sustainability analysisDesign personalized retirement income strategies that allow clients to maintain their lifestyle through retirementTax & Estate PlanningWork with clients to optimize their tax situation through tax-advantaged accounts, tax-deferred growth, and strategic planningCoordinate with tax professionals to implement tax-efficient investment and withdrawal strategiesAssist clients with estate planning considerations including beneficiary designations, legacy goals, and coordination with estate professionalsInsurance & Risk PlanningAssess clients’ insurance needs including life, health, disability, and long-term care coverageRecommend appropriate protection strategies to mitigate financial risk in alignment with the overall planOngoing Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain deep, long-term relationships centered on trust, proactive communication, and consistent follow-throughConduct regular review meetings and check-ins to keep financial plans current as client circumstances evolveMaintain a client-first mindset in every interaction—by phone, email, and in personCompliance, Documentation & SystemsMaintain compliance with SEC, FINRA, and firm policies in all planning and advisory activitiesDocument all client interactions clearly and accurately within the CRM systemUtilize financial planning software and internal tools to maintain accurate records and support planning workflowsTeam Collaboration & Professional DevelopmentWork closely with senior advisors, operations, and planning teams to deliver a seamless client experienceParticipate in ongoing training, role-play sessions, and internal meetings as part of the structured development programContribute ideas to strengthen firm processes, communication, and client journey qualityStay current on industry trends, regulations, and financial products through continued professional developmentQualificationsRequired2+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory, or a related financial services environmentActive Series 65 or Series 7 & 66 licensing (non-negotiable)Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build genuine, long-term client relationshipsWorking knowledge of financial planning concepts including retirement planning, investments, insurance, and tax-aware strategiesHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative mindset and genuine desire to grow within a team-oriented environmentComfort working in a fast-paced, fully on-site environmentPreferredInsurance licensing (life and health)Experience with CRM systems and financial planning
