This role involves dbt development, data transformation, pipeline validation and Snowflake optimization, along with strong collaboration across onsite and offshore teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLevel II Data Engineer 5+ yearsDevelop and maintain dbt modelsPerform Oracle to Snowflake data transformationValidate data using row count & checksum methodsMonitor ETL pipelines and ensure data accuracyOptimize SQL for Snowflake performanceLevel III Onsite - Lead / Architect 10+ yearsDesign Snowflake architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)Define dbt standards, macros and CI/CD practicesLead UAT and stakeholder coordinationHandle critical migration issues and production cutoverManage offshore delivery teamsRequired SkillsStrong experience in dbt and SnowflakeAdvanced SQL skillsExperience with Oracle to Snowflake migrationData validation and testing expertiseExperience with Git, VS Code and CI/CD practicesPreferred SkillsAWS Data Engineering (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions)Data Lake / ELT pipeline experienceEducation- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related fieldThis is a remote position.
