Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop & End-User SupportInstall, configure, and support Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other standard enterprise applicationsTroubleshoot and support desktop and laptop hardware, including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and peripheralsProvide iOS and mobile device support, including connectivity, configuration, and app troubleshootingSupport networked and locally connected printersPC & Equipment DeploymentAcquire PCs and conference room equipment from warehouse locationsSecurely stage, image, build, and deploy equipmentMaintain accurate inventory recordsAverage workload includes:30-40 PC builds per month per technician~10 conference room support incidents per month~30 staff moves/replacements per monthConference Room & AV SupportSet up and troubleshoot conference room technologies including:Widescreen TVs, projectors, docking systemsVideo conferencing systems (e.g., Polycom)Provide on-site support for conference room connectivity and audio/visual issuesGeneral ServicesHardware and software installs, maintenance, and troubleshootingHardware moves and replacementsService Desk incident and request supportData entry and documentation of work performedSpecial projects, inventory management, and e-waste handlingIncident Response ExpectationsSeverity 1 (High):Call back within 15 minutesOn-site within 2 hoursResolution target: 1 hourSeverity 2 (Medium):Call back within 30 minutesOn-site within 4 hoursResolution target: 2 hoursSeverity 3 (Low):Call back within 60 minutesOn-site within 6 hoursResolution target: 3 hoursLate-day issues may be scheduled for the next business day if approvedRequired Skills & QualificationsHands-on experience supporting Windows desktop environmentsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applicationsExperience supporting hardware peripherals and enterprise printersWorking knowledge of iOS/mobile device supportBasic understanding of conference room AV systemsAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of usersComfortable performing physical work:Working under tablesUsing laddersLifting up to 60 poundsBasic knowledge of electrical safety practicesNice to HaveCompTIA A+ or equivalent technical certificationPrior enterprise or field-based desktop support experienceWork EnvironmentTeam of 4 technicians statewideOahu site supported by 2 techniciansFully on-site role (no remote work)Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hilo, HI.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
