Part-Time Market Assistant/Barista

Early mornings (it is a coffee biz), some physical work, and consistent execution are part of the role.You understand that people come for the coffee, but return because of the people behind the counter. Familiarity with the Bay Area's hospitality/food scene is a plus.Responsibilities:Help load and unload equipment, inventory, and supplies (up to 50 lbs)Assist in the setup of the market booth, including coffee equipment and displaySupport high-volume service alongside the ownerLove talking about coffee; engage with customers, answer questions, and represent the brandHandle transactions accurately (cash + POS)Maintain a clean, organized station throughout the shiftRestock supplies and retail productsBreak down, clean, and pack all equipment after serviceThis can be fast-paced work. You will be on your feet for extended periods, working outdoors in varying conditions.Growth Path:Transition into a barista role after completing training and obtaining a ServSafe Food Handler CertificateOpportunity to learn the coffee business beyond the barista roleTake on more responsibility as you demonstrate consistency and capability and transition into a more senior role
