Nurse Practitioner
Role Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our female-lead OBGYN team. Responsibilities:
Conduct patient examinations and assessments in a private practice setting
Provide prenatal and postnatal care
Perform routine gynecological procedures
Prescribe medications and treatments
Educate patients on reproductive health and wellness
Collaborate with physicians on patient care plans
Maintain accurate medical records in Athena Health
Review patient medical histories
Administer injections and medications as prescribed by a physician.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare, including obstetrics and gynecology
Experience in Labor and Delivery Nursing or previous Women's Health Office Preferred
MUST BE ABLE TO CHECK A CERVIX
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized professional organization, such as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Experience administering injections and performing catheterization a plus.
- Strong Women's Health knowledge.
- Familiarity with IUD, birth control practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
