Job DescriptionTitle: Production ProcessorShift: 1stRate: $22hr - $24hrStatus: Temp to HireJob DescriptionAs a Production Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This is an ideal position for a recent high school graduate or someone with 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience. You will work closely with our production team to ensure all products meet the company's quality standards while adhering to established procedures and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Production Processing: Operate machinery and equipment to batch and mix food-grade powders according to production schedules and recipes. Batching and Mixing: Accurately follow pre-sequenced production schedules to prepare ingredients, weigh materials, and mix feeds in accordance with quality control guidelines. Quality Control: Obtain and review mixing records to ensure proper ingredients and weights are used for each batch. Maintain attention to detail to ensure all production runs meet or exceed quality standards. Efficiency: Work within set timelines to complete production batches on time or ahead of schedule, ensuring minimal delays or disruptions. Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and order in the blending room, including equipment sanitation and overall clean room maintenance. Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of machinery by conducting routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic upkeep to ensure smooth operation. Compliance: Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards as part of the company’s quality management system. Coordination: Collaborate with the Logistics department to follow proper methods and procedures for production flow and material handling. Qualifications:Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred, particularly in mixing or blending roles. Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
