You'll guide a high-performing team, drive occupancy and revenue, and ensure our community meets the standards of excellence that define MAXX Properties. This role is ideal for a leader who can balance strategy with service and who enjoys bringing people together.Key Responsibilities:Financial ManagementLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to meet targeted performance goals.Monitor income and expenses, identify variances, and recommend strategies for improvement.Analyze market conditions, manage rent schedules, and support capital planning to strengthen long-term asset value.Leadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, coach, and support onsite team members to ensure exceptional performance and resident service.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.Conduct routine check-ins, performance evaluations, and team meetings to maintain alignment and engagement.Resident ExperienceBuild strong, lasting relationships with residents through proactive communication and high-touch service.Oversee maintenance operations to ensure timely response and resolution of service requests.Develop and support community-building initiatives that enhance satisfaction and retention.Administrative OperationsManage rent collection, payroll, vendor coordination, and compliance-related reporting.Review operational data to identify trends and implement improvements that drive efficiency and quality.Leasing & MarketingSupport strategic leasing and marketing efforts to achieve and maintain optimal occupancy.Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations during all leasing activities.Evaluate competitor activity, maintain curb appeal, and collaborate with marketing partners to promote the community.What We're Looking For:2-3 years of experience as a Community/Property ManagerFamiliarity with Yardi or similar property management softwareStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesConfident, thoughtful decision-maker with strong leadership capabilitiesWhy Choose MAXX Properties?17 days of PTO to start, plus an additional day each year; carry over up to 5 days40 hours of Sick and Safe Time, with 100% carryoverCompetitive salary with monthly renewal, quarterly NOI, and SatisFacts bonusesOne of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry (including but not limited to the following)Medical & Dental (Employer Contributions for both)401(k) + company matchLife & DisabilityHSA/FSAPet & Identity Theft insuranceRental discounts at any MAXX community starting your first dayTuition reimbursement up to $2,500/year for job-related education$750/year reimbursement for children's educational and extracurricular activities$500 Employee Referral ProgramAbout Maxx Properties:MAXX Properties has been committed to delivering exceptional service since 1936, when Max Wiener and his son, Ralph, purchased their first 48-unit building in Brooklyn, NY.
