Forensic Engineer📍 Ohio💰 Salary: $115,000–$130,000 (dependent on location and experience)🏠 Full-Time | Fully Remote with Regional TravelWe're partnering with a well-established forensic engineering consultancy that has built its reputation on technical excellence and long-standing client relationships. Rather than relying on aggressive business development, the firm has grown through repeat business and referrals - a reflection of the quality of its work and the trust it has earned across the industry.They're looking for a Forensic Engineer to join their growing team, investigating structural failures, construction defects, storm damage, and other building-related issues across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, field investigations, and delivering practical engineering solutions. While they're ideally seeking experienced forensic engineers, they're also keen to hear from licensed Structural Engineers who are passionate about moving into forensics. You'll be supported by some of the industry's most experienced professionals, making it an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in forensic engineering.What You'll DoConduct forensic investigations and structural assessments across a variety of building types.Determine the root cause of structural failures, construction defects, and damage-related issues.Perform site inspections, document findings, and prepare clear, technically sound reports.Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.Provide expert engineering opinions supported by thorough technical analysis.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.PE licence preferred (or EIT working towards licensure).2-5 years of experience within the forensic engineering or structural engineering space.Strong technical writing and communication skills.Someone who enjoys hands-on engineering and field investigations as much as technical analysis.Why Join?This is a company that genuinely invests in its people.
