About the Position Dexis is recruiting aBudgetAnalystto supportanticipatedprogrammingwith the Department ofWar(DoW).This opportunity will provideprogram support, policy support, and technicalassistanceservices to support Counterdrug(CD)/Counter-Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC)/Counter-Threat Finance (CTF)mission needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), The Joint Staff,Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Military Departments, and Defense Agencies. This positionis contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities * Support the USG resource decision making process by analyzing immediate and long-term CD/CTOC/CTF program requirements for OSD, Joint Staff,CCMDs, Military Departments, and Defense Agenciesin accordance withannual program and budget guidance. * Analyze CD/CTOC/CTF program, budget, and execution data for content, technical accuracy, supporting justifications, and compliance withDoWbudgetary policy and guidance, and prepare for USG review, program resources packages supporting the Department'sPlanning, Programming, Budget, and Execution System (PPBE)process, and execution of theDoWCD appropriation. * Assist USG personnel indeterminingpriorities for CD/CTOC/CTF program investment by supporting fact-finding, workload modeling, program feasibility and efficiency studies, cost-projection analyses, and other studies related to CD/CTOC/CTF domestic and international portfolios. * Assist the USG in the administration and execution of CD appropriated funding by supporting internal andprior-approvalreprogramming actions,monitoringmonthlyCCMDs, Military Department and Defense Agency budget execution, and supporting routine and special program audits. * Demonstrate the ability to rapidly assimilate the assigned portfolio's scope,objectives, and priorities to deliver real-time oversight, provide comprehensive briefings, conduct in-depth analysis, and present informed recommendations to leadership. * Must navigate ambiguity with confidence by adapting fast with limited guidance and direction. Be able to be quick on their feet and ready to pivot, adapt and deliver in the moment. Demonstrate poise and clarity in fast-paced environments with the ability to swiftly analyze evolvingsituationsdelivering clear and confident recommendations. Qualifications * ActiveTop Secretclearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. * Possessa master's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field of study. * Possess ten (10) years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within theDoW, other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents, and will be expected to perform at the level of a mid-range GS-15 equivalent. * Possess expert-level knowledge in the application of resource management principles associated with theDoWPPBE process and the Federal budget process. This includes an understanding of, and experience with, congressional authorizations and appropriations,DoWfunding authorities, and Office of Management and Budget and Department of the Treasury policies, directives, and regulations. * ExtensiveexpertiseinDoWfinancial Enterprise Resource Systems (ERP) andmanpowerdatabases, with a deep understanding of budgeting cycles, cost estimation methodologies, and resource allocation frameworks. * Proven ability to navigate andoptimizeERP financial platforms, and analytical systems to ensure data integrity, compliance with federal regulations, and alignment with organizationalobjectives. Skilled inleveragingmanpowerdata analytics to support strategic decision-making, personnel planning, and operational efficiency. * Shallpossessexceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to translate highly technical information into plain language for effective communication withDoWand other USG staff in the performance of all duties,tasksand services.
