Every 3rd weekend required.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Home Health Nurse with experience in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neuro, and ortho specialties. The ideal candidate will conduct home skilled visits, providing essential care to patients and ensuring documentation and assessments are carried out effectively.ResponsibilitiesAssess and document patient health status, focusing on cardiopulmonary, geriatric, neuro, and orthopedic needs.Provide patient and family education on medications, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention.Perform skilled nursing visits at patient homes, with a minimum of 6 visits per day.Utilize equipment and devices as necessary, including crutches, gait belts, and supplemental oxygen delivery.Identify signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse in patients.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust possess a valid state nursing license or a compact license.BLS certification required.At least 2 years of home health experience is mandatory; OASIS training preferred.Valid driver's license and access to a car for home visits.Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption form on file.Must have a flu shot or a declination and adhere to mandatory mask-wearing while at work.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
