Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Millwork Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, managing bid proposals, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams. Your expertise in construction estimating and millwork will help ensure our projects are competitively priced and delivered on time. Responsibilities * Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to accurately estimate material requirements and costs for millwork projects * Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools to prepare detailed bids * Analyze project plans to determine labor, material, and equipment costs while ensuring estimates align with client budgets and project scope * Conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms * Manage project budgets by tracking costs throughout the bidding process and adjusting estimates as needed for accuracy * Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to interpret technical drawings and clarify project requirements * Prepare comprehensive spreadsheets and reports that detail cost breakdowns, pricing strategies, and bid summaries Experience * Proven experience managing projects as a construction estimator within the commercial millwork or cabinetry industry * Strong proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Xactimate, or similar tools * Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, construction drawing review, and interpreting technical specifications * Demonstrated ability to estimate material costs accurately from blueprints and manage overall project budgets * Skilled in negotiation with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to optimize pricing strategies * Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes * Hands-on experience with construction site operations, contract review, cost control measures, and material requirement estimation Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values precision, innovation, and professionalism.
