Our OpportunityThe Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for assisting in the growth, revenue, and profitability of commercial sales in the the Northwest Territory (Northern California, Northern Nevada, Washington, and Oregon).Critical to the success of the position includes:Revenue growth of commercial products to applicators, specialty applicators, and distributorsRaise market awareness of Maxxon products with commercial floor covering contractorsExpense managementExisting customer management and new customer developmentEssential FunctionsGeneration of revenue and profitability throughout the RegionIn coordination with the West Sales Manager, recommend pricing strategies and discounts with customer-specific accountsIn coordination with West Sales Manager, develop and grow relationships with Maxxon Applicator networkDevelop/maintain relationships with and provide technical support to commercial floor covering contractors, general contractors (GC’s), distributors, and architects throughout the regionPromote and increase product awareness through presentations, phone conversations, and e-mail communicationsDevelop sales, training PowerPoint presentations and handouts to educate GC’s, Maxxon applicator network and commercial floor covering contractorsDevelop and present PowerPoint presentations on the Maxxon product line for architectural firms and general contractors to increase the number of architectural firms that specify and use Maxxon productsConfer or consult with the marketing department to plan advertising services and to secure information on products and customer specificationsManage and resolve problem floor investigations on behalf of Maxxon, applicator network, and commercial floor covering contractorsProvide technical support for the Maxxon applicator network and commercial floor covering contractors within the RegionRepresent Maxxon at national and local trade showsMonitor competition within the regionManage the training of new and existing dealers as it relates to how to bid and install Maxxon productsIdeal candidate WillHave 5+ years in building product sales managementEnjoy customer service and develop long lasting relationshipsLead and develop marketing initiatives within the region, as it relates to commercial segmentHave ability to be versatile and work independently while still operating within a team environmentProven track record of managing a profit center; including meeting regional sales financial objectives, utilizes forecasting; preparing annual budgets; and scheduling sales and marketing expenditures, while implementing change when neededHave excellent customer service and presentation skillsAble to quickly build trusted, honest relationships with current and new customers at multiple levels within a businessQuickly take action on customer concerns, investigate situations and recommend solutionsAble to travel 50%+, including overnights within region or to corporate eventsWhat’s In It For Me?Maxxon is an industry leading, 50+ year, successful businessCompetitive compensation and sales incentive programGenerous medical and dental benefits along with a 401KShare with us your talent and drive and we will provide a creative and supportive environment, where your valuable contributions are rewarded and celebrated with professional growth, job satisfaction, and an attractive total compensation program.Sounds Like You?Interested in learning more?
