This is a hands-on leadership role operating heavy equipment, managing an on-site dig crew, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations.Responsibilities: ResponsibilitiesOperate backhoe and excavation equipment for sewer, water, and gas line repairs or new installationsBreak and remove concrete and prepare job sites for excavationAssist plumbing technicians during on-site repairs and installationsRemove old sewer lines and verify proper line flow before job completionBackfill excavated areas and restore job sites, including cleanup and seeding as requiredLead and manage the on-site dig crew to ensure work is completed to scope and quality standardsObtain customer approvals for work performed and completedMaintain, fuel, and stock the service vehicle and equipmentTransport equipment, materials, and tools; track tool usage and inventoryComplete required job documentation and process customer payments when applicableQualifications: RequirementsHeavy equipment operation experience or equivalent trainingValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)Strong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work safely, efficiently, and independently on active job sitesLeadership experience managing crews preferredFor questions about the role, you may contact our recruiting team at (571) 393-7118Note: This posting outlines potential pay ranges and opportunities, which are not guaranteed and do not represent a formal offer.
