Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing full cycle recruiting efforts across the organization. This role works closely with hiring managers to post openings, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support the hiring process from initial outreach through onboarding, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
Experience recruiting in construction, telecom, or field-based environments is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Support full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer coordination
Partner with hiring managers and HR Partners to understand current and future workforce needs
Source candidates using job boards, trade schools, universities, career fairs, industry associations, and social media
Identify and build new candidate sources to support growth and hard to fill roles
Participate in weekly staffing meetings to provide updates on open positions, candidate activity, and hiring progress
Assist with planning and attending recruiting events to support outreach and candidate engagement
Ensure recruiting activities remain compliant with applicable employment laws and company policies
Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information at all times
Minimum Qualifications
Highly detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative team player with the ability to build trust with leaders and candidates
Working knowledge of recruitment compliance and onboarding requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in Dayforce a plus!
Other Requirements
Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening
Occasional travel up to 20 percent may be required
Valid driver’s license required
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with overtime requirements or as directed by leadership.
