Travel Physical Therapist Assistant Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness in an outpatient orthopedic setting, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active State PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates with recent outpatient clinical experience will be considered. Experience with WebPT electronic medical record preferred. Ability to manage an average caseload of approximately 2 patients per hour (about 13 patients per day). Clients request a resume and conduct interviews via Zoom. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient. Shift Name: Days. Patient Focus: General outpatient orthopedics. Caseload: Approximately 2 patients per hour, about 13 patients per day. Clinician Access: On-site 24-hour gym available for clinician use during breaks. Location Highlights Thomson, GA provides a small-town setting 30 minutes from Augusta with convenient regional access.
