Job Description & Requirements Specialty:PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline:RN Start Date:03/21/2026 Duration:13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift:12 hours, days Employment Type:Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - 12hr Days - Wausau, WI Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Job Title: Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 Shift Requirements: 12 hours Days 0700-1930 Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed. Every other weekend. Every other holiday Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire. Minimum Experience: MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE & 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required. EPIC charting 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass.
