Estimator

Richards Welding & Metal Fabrication is seeking an estimator with a moderate level of construction experience with an emphasis on steel construction & miscellaneous metals. This position will be focused on creating take-off documents, creating detailed proposals and team-work focused within the Estimating Department.This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF readers for markup purposes. Our team utilizes Bluebeam for markups. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software knowledge is a plus, but not required. ResponsibilitiesMaintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding processResolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationObtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimatesQualificationsFamiliarity with blueprints and ability to read plans1 - 3 years' of construction experience preferredExcellent time management skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to work independentlySchedule7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday (In Office)+5 hours Friday (remote)Benefits401(k)Dental InsuranceHealth InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off (after 1st year)LocationDunn, NC
