Our fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture rewards self-starters who want to contribute to an organization that’s leading the way in innovation, quality, and professionalism in the industry.Make an Impact Beyond DesignCS Erickson is seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) on commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects.This role is ideal for an engineer who wants ownership, field collaboration, and real influence over how projects are designed and built.What You'll DoEngineering & DesignServe as Engineer of Record (EOR)Design and approve electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, low-voltage)Seal/stamp drawings, calculations, and specificationsPerform engineering studies (short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, voltage drop)Project CollaborationPartner with project managers, estimators, and field teamsSupport RFIs, submittals, and construction-phase problem solvingParticipate in constructability reviews and value engineeringTechnical LeadershipReview and approve work from designers and engineersMentor junior team membersEstablish engineering standards and best practicesCompliance & RiskEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local codesCoordinate with AHJs, utilities, and inspectorsIdentify and mitigate technical and safety risksQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)Active PE license (MI and/or TX, or ability to obtain)7–10+ years of experience in electrical designExperience serving as Engineer of RecordStrong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEEProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and power system analysis toolsPreferredExperience in industrial, manufacturing, or mission-critical environmentsDesign-build or contractor-side experienceFamiliarity with building automation or energy systemsBluebeam, Accubid, or estimating experienceWhy CS Erickson?Direct involvement in complex, high-impact projectsStrong collaboration between engineering and construction teamsOpportunity to own decisions, not just execute tasksA growing company focused on innovation, quality, and professionalismRecruiter NoticeCS Erickson partners exclusively with recruiters who have a current, signed agreement in place.
