Job Description Description:Job SummaryAll potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.The Gas Turbine Mechanic performs hands-on inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of gas turbines and related equipment in a shop-based environment. This role is critical to ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. This is an onsite position at a fixed facility (not a field service role). You'll be part of a hands-on team focused on quality rebuild and repair work—no travel, just real work in a shop environment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on gas turbines and associated equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, and identify root causesExecute preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifeFollow all safety protocols, procedures, and applicable industry standards Document maintenance, repair, and inspection activities accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize turbine performanceAssist with installation, commissioning, and testing of turbine units and componentsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:QualificationsExperience as a Gas Turbine Mechanic or in a similar role within power generation or an industrial environmentWorking knowledge of gas turbine systems, components, and maintenance practicesAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawingsProficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEffective communication skillsEducation xhyhwjd and CertificationsTechnical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or related field preferredRelevant industry certifications are a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsAbility to work in confined spaces and at heights as requiredWork EnvironmentOnsite, industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperaturesThis role is based at a fixed facility; travel is not a regular requirement
