Job TitleBoar's Head Provisions Co., Inc.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate and troubleshoot analog I/O (A-D, 4-20 ma, 0-5v., etc.)Perform component replacement and coordinate repairs with mechanical maintenance technicians as necessaryReview and suggest performance and improvement ideas with Facilities ManagerMaintain required program backups for critical equipmentConduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of critical equipmentDiagnose and repair controls and control systems (electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic systems)Provide controls diagnostic training to plant electricians and mechanicsContinually develop equipment and process expertiseMaintain and train safe work practicesWork with Operations associates to ensure proper equipment operationWork with Sanitation associates to ensure proper equipment carePerform work as assigned by Facilities ManagerEducation and ExperienceFull understanding of HMI interface and programmingFull understanding of mechanically controlled devices (modulating air operated control valves, servo operated valves and devices, VFD controlled motors, related PID functions, etc.)Strong understanding and diagnoses of mechanical machine operation to insure correct control diagnosis can be performedAbility to perform mechanical component replacement and coordinate repairs with mechanical maintenance technicians as necessaryThree (3) to Five (5) years' experience in industrial equipment controlsMechatronics training, courses, and experience preferredMeat Processing and Equipment knowledge preferredStrong, committed, and unquestioned record of safe work practicesAdditional ResponsibilitiesConduct equipment audits to ensure excellent maintenanceSupport Facilities Department goalsSupport QA, R&D, and Process Systems departments, as neededWork with OEM vendors to continually improve equipment and process operationsLocation: New Castle, INTime Type: Full timeDepartment: Facilities Management
