Description:Bluedrop Water is a growing water solutions company serving residential and commercialcustomers. We install and service a variety of water filtration systems to include point-of-entryfiltration, point-of-use filters, hot & cold water dispensers, still and sparkling water machines andcustom filtration projects. We are looking for an experienced Director of Field Operations to join our team!The Director of Field Operations will lead and scale our field service and installation teams. Thisrole is responsible for driving performance across productivity, quality, safety, and customerexperience, while building the structure, processes, and team needed to support continuedgrowth. This leader will work closely with sales, dispatch, and leadership teams to ensure efficientexecution and a consistent, high-quality customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop field managers, technicians, and installersBuild a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvementEstablish clear performance expectations and conduct regular coaching and reviewsImplement training, onboarding, and career development programsOperational PerformanceDrive improvements in field efficiency, including job readiness, workflow, and technician utilization, while partnering with the dispatch team to optimize scheduling and routingDevelop and standardize processes to improve consistency and scalabilityImplement quality control measures to ensure strong workmanship and customer satisfactionResolve escalated service and installation issuesLead large and complicated project installation planningCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales to improve handoffs, site readiness, and overall executionProvide field insights to the dispatch team to improve scheduling efficiency and routingCollaborate with leadership on hiring, planning, and operational improvementsPerformance, Safety & ResourcesEstablish and manage KPIs across productivity, quality, safety, and customer experienceTrack performance and drive continuous improvement initiativesOversee safety programs, training, and compliance standardsManage field-related costs, inventory, tools, and equipmentRequirements: 7+ years of leadership experience in field operations, service, or installationExperience leading technician teams in plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, or similar tradesBroad knowledge across the tradesProven ability to improve performance and build scalable processesStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with KPIs, budgeting, and safety programsIdeal CandidateOur ideal candidate is a hands-on operator and strong people leader who brings structure to growing teams.An experienced leader who improves performance, builds systems, and holds teams accountable while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.Why Join Bluedrop WaterThis is an opportunity to step into a key leadership role and help shape the future of a growingcompany.
