Production Manager (Manufacturing)Location: Corona, CA Shift: First Shift | 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt Compensation: $75,000-$100,000 annually (DOE) Reports To: VP of OperationsRole OverviewThe Production Manager leads first-shift manufacturing and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role oversees multiple production lines and drives safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. The position requires a strong floor presence (approximately 85%) with remaining responsibilities focused on administrative and performance tracking activities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily manufacturing and packaging operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and financial targetsMaintain a strong production floor presence to identify inefficiencies and implement real-time corrective actionsDrive performance metrics including OTD, OEE, throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, and margin performanceChampion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsLead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction)Partner with planning and scheduling teams to support on-time delivery and capacity planningCoach, develop, and manage production leads and operatorsManage labor utilization, timekeeping, overtime, and staffing needsTrack KPIs and support reporting and performance reviewsSupport equipment maintenance and ensure clean, audit-ready production areasQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years of manufacturing leadership experienceExperience managing multiple production or assembly linesHands-on experience with gravity filling and rotary filling equipmentAssembly line experience, preferably within bottling or plastics manufacturingStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesERP and production reporting experienceBilingual in Spanish (read and write) requiredPreferred ExperienceLean or Six Sigma certificationPackaging, food manufacturing, consumer goods, or high-speed production environmentsBudgeting and cost management experiencePhysical RequirementsExtended periods of standing and walking on the production floorAbility to lift up to 25 poundsComfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environmentBenefitsComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and life insurance.
