Senior Tax Manager (Tempe)

We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager with a growing CPA firm in the East Valley. This role will report to, and work closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers, where you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations. This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager that wants to grow to the Partner level.Base salary for this role is $140,000-$175,000.QualificationsBatchelor's degree in accounting required. Master's degree in Tax a plusCPA designation required10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory roleDirect responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returnsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing othersAbility to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive serviceHigh level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCommitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communicationsExperience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred
