Reviews residents care plans, assures plans are followed and documents resident medical recordsSupervises care provided by the Nursing Assistants assigned to the unit, providing intervention, education, and assignment adjustmentsPrepares and administers medication and treatmentsConsults with physiciansReceives and records orders as requiredRequirementsQualificationsCurrent Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licenseCurrent/active CPR certification preferredLong-term care experience preferredOther QualificationsHas not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.We are committed to giving our employees only the very best, providing not only competitive salaries and wages, but also a large selection of benefits."All offers of employment are subject to the completion of a satisfactory background check and reference check and eligibility for the participation in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
