To view the full job description click on the following link:CTE Teacher: Ag Equipment Design & FabricationEmployment Term (days): 220Pay Scale: TeacherPrimary Purpose:Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.Qualification Guidelines:Education/Certifications/Experience:Bachelor's degree from accredited universityValid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assignedLetter of Acceptance from Educator Prep Program and ability to obtain Intern Certification within one year for subject and level assignedOrTwo or more years of full-time wage-earning experience in the Welding or Agricultural Equipment Design & Fabrication industry with industry certifications or licensureAndWelding Inspector VT Level II (preferred)Experience in certifying students in American Welding Society certifications (preferred)Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:General knowledge of curriculum and instructionCapitalizes students' interests to engage students to become independent learnersStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of subjects assignedUses information about individual student to make learning more meaningful and relevantSupervisory Responsibilities:Supervise assigned teacher aide(s)
